"But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him." Luke 10:33-34
Along the Ascent of Ma'aleh Adumim to Jerusalem you will find Byzantine ruins with the ancient "Inn of the Good Samaritan" church and a modern day Turkish-era building representing the inn. The Byzantines found the ruins of the biblical site of Ma’aleh Adumim and associated it with the parable. When you are at this site, do not forget to visit the "Museum of the Good Samaritan" which contains colorful mosaics from churches and synagogues all around Israel.
